  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (for glaze)


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup ketchup, brown sugar, and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce to create the glaze.
  5. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
